Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1/2 cup almond flour
2 scallions, chopped
1 1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp onion powder
1/2 Tbsp paprika
1/2 Tbsp oregano leaves
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
For the Honey-Garlic Glaze:
2 Tbsp honey
2 Tbsp coconut aminos
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp water
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, almond flour, chopped scallions, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano leaves. Add a small amount of salt and pepper. Make sure to combine it thoroughly using a spatula or your hands.
Using your hands, start forming balls with the turkey mixture. (This recipe yields 6-7 meatballs)
Pour a small amount of olive oil onto a sauce pan and set to medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes each side.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine honey, coconut aminos, sesame seeds, garlic, and water.
Once the meatballs are cooked, pour the honey-garlic glaze over them, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
