Honey-Garlic Glazed Turkey Meatballs


  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup almond flour

  • 2 scallions, chopped

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 Tbsp onion powder

  • 1/2 Tbsp paprika

  • 1/2 Tbsp oregano leaves

  • salt, to taste

  • pepper, to taste

For the Honey-Garlic Glaze:

  • 2 Tbsp honey

  • 2 Tbsp coconut aminos

  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 2 Tbsp water


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, almond flour, chopped scallions, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano leaves. Add a small amount of salt and pepper. Make sure to combine it thoroughly using a spatula or your hands.

  2. Using your hands, start forming balls with the turkey mixture. (This recipe yields 6-7 meatballs)

  3. Pour a small amount of olive oil onto a sauce pan and set to medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes each side.

  4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine honey, coconut aminos, sesame seeds, garlic, and water.

  5. Once the meatballs are cooked, pour the honey-garlic glaze over them, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
