Ingredients:
• 4 cups bone broth
• 1 - 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
• 1 beefsteak tomato, chopped
• 1 yellow onion, chopped • 4 celery sticks, chopped
• 2 large carrots, chopped
• 2 yams, cubed
• 1.5 cups lentils, rinsed • 5 garlic cloves, minced • 2 Tbsp olive oil • handful of cilantro, chopped
• 1 teaspoon cumin
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1 teaspoon turmeric
• black pepper + chili flakes, to taste
• juice of 1/2 lemon
• swiss chard, chopped (as much as you'd like!)
Directions:
Add all ingredients except lemon juice and chard to the crockpot and stir.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Add lemon juice and chard. Stir and let sit for a few minutes.
Serve with delicious bread and a salad. Enjoy!
