• 1 14-oz container extra firm organic tofu
• 1 Tbsp tamari
• 1 teaspoon avocado oil
• black pepper (to taste)
• garlic powder (to taste)
• 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
Preheat oven to 450 F.
Drain tofu and pat dry to remove all moisture.
Cut tofu into ~3/4 inch cubes and continue to pat dry.
Let tofu sit wrapped in a dry towel for at least 15 minutes and then pat dry again. (The dryer they are, the crispier they will get!)
Mix tamari avocado oil, black pepper, and garlic powder in a medium bowl.
Gently mix in tofu, coating evenly. Be careful not to break the nuggets.
Add nutritional yeast and mix in gently with tofu.
Spread tofu on baking sheet and place in oven for 15 minutes. Flip and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool. Enjoy!
