Spiced Tuna Salad


• 1 6-oz can tuna (I’ve been using Wild Planet Foods Skipjack)

• 1/2 cup finely chopped celery

• 1-2 Tbsp. finely chopped red onion

• 1/2 avocado

• 1 Tbsp dijon mustard

• juice 1/2 lemon

• 1/4 teaspoon paprika

• sprinkle garlic powder

• salt & pepper, chili flakes to taste

• 1 teaspoon capers, freshly chopped dill, parsley (optional)

• vegenaise, balsamic vinegar (optional)


  1. Drain tuna and add to mixing bowl.

  2. Finely chop celery and red onion. Add to bowl.

  3. Mix in avocado, dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, and any additional spices/herbs/condiments of your choosing.

  4. Mix all ingredients well and enjoy!
