• 1 can organic garbanzo beans
• olive oil
• pinch of sea salt
• 4 teaspoons honey
• 2 teaspoons maple syrup
• juice of 1/2 lemon
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Drain, rinse and dry the garbanzo beans and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Evenly coat the garbanzo beans with olive oil. Place the baking sheet in the oven. Shake the sheet every 5 minutes so the garbanzo beans don’t burn.
To make the glaze, mix the honey, maple syrup and lemon juice together until well incorporated.
After 30 minutes, take the garbanzo beans out of the oven and drizzle on the glaze.
Place the garbanzo beans back in the oven for 5 more minutes.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt on top when the beans are taken out of the oven for the second time. Enjoy!
