8 cups water
1/2 apple, sliced
2 inch piece of ginger, peeled
1 cinnamon stick
Pour 8 cups of water into a large pot and place over high heat.
Once the water is boiling drop in the apples, cinnamon, and ginger.
Reduce the heat to a simmer.
Let the pot simmer/steep for at least 15 minutes.
Remove the pot from heat and pour the tea into a mug, no straining necessary.
Save the extra in the fridge or keep on the stovetop for later. Enjoy!
