3/4 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 Tbsp cacao powder
1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Place a saucepan or pot with the water and milk on medium-high heat. Bring the liquid to a boil.
Add in the oats and reduce the heat to a simmer.
Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the cacao powder, maple syrup, and vanilla.
Remove from heat and cover the pan with a lid for about 5 minutes to allow the oats to absorb more water.
Transfer the oats to a bowl. Top with your favorite fruit and desired toppings.
