Crispy Turmeric Cauliflower


  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite sized florets (about 6 cups)

  • extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • sea salt

  • black pepper

  • fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 420°F.

  2. Toss cauliflower with oil, turmeric, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Make sure it is coated well.

  3. Spread cauliflower on baking sheet.

  4. Place in oven for approximately 20 minutes.

  5. Remove cauliflower from the oven, toss, and place back in the oven for 15 more minutes.

  6. Set oven to broil for an additional 1-2 minutes. (For extra crispy, toss the cauliflower around and broil a second time).

  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle some cilantro on top, and enjoy!
