1 can chickpeas, rinsed and dried
1 Tbsp avocado oil
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of cayenne
dash of turmeric
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place dried chickpeas on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
While chickpeas are in the oven, combine oil, maple syrup, and spices.
Remove chickpeas and pour mixture over them and toss with a spoon.
Place chickpeas back in the oven for another 10 minutes, stir and then bake for another 10 minutes, or until they are golden and crunchy.
Allow chickpeas to cool before storing in the fridge.
