1/2 lb green beans, rinsed
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp coconut aminos
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Bring a pot of water to boil and add a small amount of salt to the water.
Fill a bowl with some water and ice. Set aside.
Once boiling, add the green beans and cook them about 2-3 minutes, then quickly transfer them to the bowl with water and ice.
Mince the garlic cloves.
Add some olive oil to a saucepan on medium-high heat. Once it’s hot, add the minced garlic and sliced almonds, and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the green beans and cook for about 3 extra minutes. Adjust to taste with salt and pepper.
Squeeze some lime juice on top if desired.
