2 cups old fashioned oats
1 gala apple, diced
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 Tbsp liquid coconut oil
1/4 cup cashews, chopped
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup almonds, sliced
1 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon powder
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cut gala apple into small dices and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Put them in the oven for 15 minutes.
Using a sharp knife, chop cashews and pecans. Set aside.
Once 15 minutes have passed, take the chopped apple out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes.
In a mixing bowl, add rolled oats, chopped cashews, pecans, sliced almonds, and cinnamon powder. Combine thoroughly.
To the mixing bowl, add the maple syrup, liquid coconut oil and the chopped apple. Combine thoroughly.
Place the mixture back on the baking sheet and place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Let it cool for about 15 minutes before enjoying. Sprinkle some extra cinnamon on top if desired.
