Mixed Grains With Herbs and Green Goddess Dressing

Mixed Grains with Herbs Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white quinoa

  • 1/2 cup millet

  • 1/2 cup farro

  • chopped mixed herbs such as dill, parsley, basil, and mint

  • extra virgin olive oil

  • lemon juice (optional)

  • salt

  • pepper


  1. Place quinoa, millet, and farro in a pot and rinse well with water. Drain.

  2. Add 2.5 cups of water, a drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of salt.

  3. Bring to a boil and then lower to a simmer, cover, and cook until grains are tender.

  4. Add chopped herbs, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Green Goddess Dressing Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup whole milk greek yogurt or plant-based alternative

  • 1/4 cup whole milk kefir or plant-based alternative

  • 1.5 cups mixed soft herbs such as parsley, basil, tarragon, dill, mint, and chives

  • 2 Tbsps lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon of capers

  • 1 large clove of garlic

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • dash of red chili flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


  1. Prepare dressing by placing all ingredients into a vitamix or food processor.

  2. Pulse until well combined.

  3. Taste and adjust for seasoning.
